    Welcome!

Thank you for joining us at the third annual Yale School of Management Philanthropy Conference. This year’s theme was “Achieving Effectiveness in Philanthropy.”

The conference was held November 16-17, 2007 in New Haven, Connecticut.

The objective of the conference is to educate members of the Yale community on emerging trends in the philanthropic sector. We welcomed Charles Best, YC’98, Founder and CEO of DonorsChoose.org, as our keynote speaker.

The conference included panel topics and interactive sessions in two tracks at the intersection of business and society.

  • How can business techniques inform evaluation and develop tools for measuring effectiveness?
  • Where are leaders of business and society making impact? How do they allocate resources in order to carry out their strategies?
  • Please visit Conference Highlights to read recaps of our panels, watch videos, and see photos of our conference.

Please revisit this website in the spring for information about the Philanthropy Conference in 2008.
