Who: Hosted by the SOM Net Impact Club, bringing together future and current practitioners in philanthropy
Where: Yale School of Management, New Haven, CT
When: Friday, December 4th, 2009, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The conference will bring together leading thinkers from the public, private and nonprofit sectors to explore how philanthropic organizations can harness their diverse resources to maximize social impact.
Panelists and speakers will address topics such as alternative investment strategies, cross sector collaboration in international development, and innovative grant-making techniques. Gara LaMarche, President and CEO of The Atlantic Philanthropies, will be the keynote speaker.
The conference is sponsored by the Charter Oak Challenge Foundation, the Yale SOM Program on Social Enterprise, and the Community Foundation for Greater New Haven.
