Yale – Goldman Sachs Competition: Winning Business Plans

    January 5th, 2007

To learn more about business planning for nonprofit enterprise, you may download business plans and presentations from a selection of the award recipients and finalists from the First, Second and Third National Business Plan Competition for Nonprofit Organizations. These business plans represent real businesses, and serve as examples of well-written plans that demonstrate the rigorous due diligence required in planning for a new business and securing the intellectual and financial capital to help ensure its success. We acknowledge that there is no single best way to research and write a business plan, and that some formats are better than others given the peculiarities of each new business. Readers should view these plans not as absolutes, but rather as representative of those that were selected by a team of credentialed evaluators as sufficiently strong to merit a financial award from The Partnership on Nonprofit Ventures. (You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to read these documents.)
